OriginsKnowing from the experience of Smarter School that a visionary leader and effective teaching technology strategies are essential to create effective learning environments, support teachers in creating Smarter Lectures, and develop schools’ unique features. Therefore, Taiwan Technology Leadership and Instructional Technology Development Association offers the Excellence Award in Technology Leadership to honor exemplary school principals in technology leadership and publicize their achievements.

II. Application Information
1. PositionsPrincipalsand vice principals of public and private primary, secondary, vocational schools, junior colleges, colleges, and universities, or leaders of educational administration.
2. Qualification- A leader who is exemplary of realizing the essence of technology leadership, of innovation and teamwork, and of extraordinary contribution.
- One who is exemplary of school management and technological integration planning, and leader of digital natives (students) and digital immigrant (teachers).
- One who leads a teaching team in actively developing innovative Smarter Classroom teaching models that are duplicable, and sets an example for other followers.
